New Public Safety App Launched by Sangamon County Sheriff

The Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office in Springfield, Illinois, has unveiled an innovative way to connect with the community by launching a new mobile public safety app, known as “The Sheriff’s App.” This digital tool aims to enhance the accessibility of the Sheriff’s Office services and provide essential information to residents, conveniently available at their fingertips.

Available for download on both the Apple Store and Google Play Store, the app is designed to be a comprehensive resource hub for residents. It offers an array of features, ensuring that users can effortlessly navigate through the services offered by the Sheriff’s Office.

One of the app’s highlights is its inclusion of detailed program information. It covers initiatives such as TRIAD and senior services, the Sheriff’s Explorers program, and details on upcoming community events. It also provides court security guidance and other public-facing tools that are crucial for community engagement and safety.

On top of its normal features, the app provides a reliable way for the Sheriff’s Office to deliver important safety information during emergencies.
