Orange County Sheriff’s Office Looks into Hazardous Materials Incident

ORLANDO, Fla. – Officials responded to a hazardous materials situation on Abberton Court in south Orlando on Thursday, between Florida’s Turnpike and South Orange Blossom Trail.

Details about the incident are unclear, but video from the scene shows a large presence of first responders.

Orange County Fire Rescue confirmed that the Orange County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation and authorities are on scene working to assess and contain the situation.

Residents in the area are advised to stay clear.
