Rampaging Dogs Kill Cat on Timmonds Avenue

Rampaging dogs killed a cat and went after a Timmonds Avenue resident just before 1 am. 

A woman contacted police to report that two dogs were running loose in the area. One dog killed her cat, and another acted threateningly toward her husband. 

She described the animals as a male, mostly white with black spots, and a tan female. It appeared the female had recently given birth to puppies. Officers contacted animal control and responded to the scene but were unable to find the dogs. 

Just after 3 pm, a caller told police he was walking past a McConnell Avenue home when a dog at that address attacked his dog. The man did not want to press charges. However, he did want the police to emphasize to the dog’s owner that she must keep it inside the gate. 

He was even willing to help her secure the animal if necessary.
