SANFORD, Fla. – A Sanford home was engulfed in flames on Friday afternoon after locals reported that an “explosion” rocked their neighborhood, according to the Seminole County Fire Department.

Fire officials reported around 6:30 p.m. that the incident happened at a home along Stargazer Terrace.

The fire department announced that the fire had been successfully put out, with an “overhaul in progress.”

In addition, no injuries were reported, fire officials stated.

For now, the fire department said that the cause of the fire is still being investigated.
