TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Get ready for a beautiful stretch of spring weather across Tampa Bay! As high pressure takes control, we’re locking in several sunny days, a warming trend, and a perfect outlook for your Easter weekend plans.

Tuesday Starts Sunny & Seasonable

We’re waking up to mild conditions and warming nicely through the day. By lunchtime, temps climb into the upper 70s, with afternoon highs reaching 80° under mostly sunny skies. A west wind between 10–15 mph keeps it feeling comfortable. Dry air and a light evening breeze make for a pleasant night ahead.

Midweek: Breezy with Just a Stray Shower

Wednesday brings another dose of sunshine, with a 10% chance of a quick, isolated shower. Winds turn northerly at 10 mph behind a weak cold front that passes through, giving the air a crisp feel despite a warmer afternoon high near 83°. Lows Wednesday night dip to a cool 59°, so you may want a light jacket early Thursday morning.

Thursday & Friday Heat Up

The warming trend kicks into high gear Thursday and Friday. Temperatures soar into the mid to upper 80s, with Friday topping out near 90°. It’ll be sunny, breezy at times, and completely dry — making it perfect for beachgoers, boaters, or anyone soaking in the spring sunshine.

Temperatures will approach records in through the weekend as well.

Easter Weekend: Near-Perfect Conditions

The sunshine sticks around for Easter weekend! Both Saturday and Sunday will feature highs near 90°, with a mix of sun and a few passing clouds. Winds remain light out of the southeast and no rain is expected. If you’re heading to an Easter egg hunt, brunch, or church service, you can leave the umbrella at home.

Early Next Week: Holding Steady

Temperatures stay near 89° Monday and Tuesday. Skies will be partly cloudy, and a slight 20% chance of rain sneaks into the forecast by Tuesday — but most of the area will remain dry.
