WASHINGTON, D.C. () – In celebration of the Navy’s 250th anniversary, the United States Navy Band will perform a free concert. This auspicious event takes place March 29, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at Georgia Southern University – Armstrong Campus.

Combining three of Navy Band’s elite ensembles, the Concert Band, Sea Chanters chorus and Cruisers popular music group, audience members can expect to hear a wide variety of musical selections sure to delight audiences of all ages.

In 2025, the United States Navy celebrates 250 years of defending freedom and protecting America’s interests around the world. As the premier musical organization of the U.S. Navy, the United States Navy Band is honored to mark this historic milestone throughout the year.

Capt. Robert “Seph” Coats, commanding officer of the U.S. Navy Band says, “Touring the nation and performing concerts means connecting with communities and telling the great stories of our Sailors working around the globe to keep us safe and free.”
