ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Over the past couple of months, so-called “thieves” have been using stolen vans to run off with ATMs throughout Orange County, according to the sheriff’s office.

In a release, deputies said that these incidents have been popping up since May.

“Thieves have targeted ATMs across Orange County using the same method: stealing a van, often a church van, and using it to rip the machines from the ground,” the release reads.

But on July 4, investigators managed to catch three such suspects in the act at Coin Laundry Café along Curry Ford Road, deputies announced.

These three suspects were identified as follows:

  • Rodrigue Jean Jules, 24

  • Tenkamein Akeem Beacham, 28

  • A 17-year-old

All three now face charges including burglary, grand theft and criminal mischief. Footage of the arrest was released and can be watched at the top of this story.

However, anyone with information on similar crimes is urged to call 911 or Crimeline at (800) 423-TIPS.
