BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – A GoFundMe has been established for the family of a Titusville mother who was killed on Memorial Day in a crash on Interstate 95 that sent her three young children, including an 8-month-old infant, to the hospital.

Olivia Maggs, 32, was killed in the wreck on I-95 near the Pineda Causeway in Brevard County when a Ford F-350 traveling next to her had a tire blowout, causing the driver to lose control and hit the side of the 2023 Honda Odyssey she was driving, Florida troopers said.

The wreck caused both vehicles to go off the road and hit a guardrail, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Maggs’ three children – a 4-year-old boy, a 3-year-old boy and an 8-month-old girl – were also in the vehicle during the crash. The two boys were taken to the hospital with minor injuries while the girl was taken to the hospital with a broken femur and a brain bleed, according to the GoFundMe set up for her family.

“Olivia was a kind, beautiful soul—a loving and gentle mother, devoted wife, and cherished daughter, sister, friend, and compassionate nurse. Her absence leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her,” the GoFundMe reads.

The organizer of the GoFundMe, Gabby Wright, shared the following statement with News 6:

As you would imagine, it’s been a difficult 24 hours for our family. Olivia is a beautiful mother, loving wife, cherished daughter and compassionate nurse with a true servants heart. Her selflessness, kindness and love for Jesus will long outlive her life.

We appreciate and feel the love and support but most importantly we covet your prayers as we navigate this tragedy.

We appreciate your support,

The Maggs & Wright Family

The mayor of Titusville posted on Facebook, stating the community is mourning “the tragic loss of a young mother of three whose life was taken far too soon in a recent accident.”

“Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. Let’s continue to be a community that stands together in the face of heartbreak,” Andrew Connors wrote in a post.
