According to the fire officials who spoke with News 6, emergency responders arrived at the residence on Coscester Street to discover that approximately 75% of the structure was engulfed in flames.

“A victim was located and pronounced dead at the scene,” the fire department stated in their report.

The Winter Garden Fire Department further mentioned that fire crews stayed on-site, awaiting the arrival of the state fire marshal to determine the cause of the blaze.

As of now, authorities have not released any further details, including the identity of the deceased.
