Active shooter in ‘tie dyed shirt and bandana’ at large as Granite County cops chase car in Anaconda Deer Lodge

A GUNMAN is on the loose after opening fire at a Montana bar on Friday afternoon, police said.

The city is on lockdown as police chase the suspect after he fled the scene in a getaway car.

Police warned people to avoid the area of Anaconda-Deer Lodge County in southwestern Montana as they hunt for an armed suspect, according to the Granite County Sheriff’s Office.

The shooter is wearing a tie-dyed shirt, blue jeans, and an orange bandana, police said.

He reportedly opened fire at Owl Bar in Anaconda on Friday afternoon.

It’s unclear if anyone was seriously injured in the shooting.

Police initially stopped a White F-150, but determined it wasn’t the suspect, GCSO said.

Cops said that there’s no threat to Granite County citizens at this time.
