Active shooter at Atlanta’s Emory University with students told to ‘RUN. HIDE. FIGHT’ as gunfire rings out & cop shot

AN ACTIVE shooter has been reported at the campus of a university in Atlanta.

Staff at Emory University have told students to RUN, HIDE, FIGHT and avoid the area.

Gunshots can be heard blasting across the streets in terrifying footage shared on social media.

One police officer has reportedly been shot near the campus, according to Fox 5 Atlanta.

The broadcaster’s crews reported hearing what sounded like gunshots in the area.

Heavy police presence has been reported at the campus.

Emory University and Emory University Hospital are now on lockdown.

Atlanta police have said they were responding to reports of an active shooter.

Georgia Representative Mike Collins posted on X: “Students at Emory please take cover. Praying for a swift end to this threat.”
