This is the moment a 15-year-old boy who reportedly stood up to two teenagers bullying his little brother scuffles with his alleged attacker before being stabbed five times.
The clash was captured in broad daylight from the window of a car on Wednesday in Middleton in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
The two boys were spotted brawling in the residential area, with no one filmed intervening as they thrashed on the road.
Following the incident, the area was then shown to be surrounded by police vehicles and the scene cordoned off with tape.
Later, more footage taken from a distance videoed what seemed to be police officers putting someone inside a vehicle.
The teenager, who cannot be named, was knifed five times in the horrific incident in broad daylight on Wednesday and is undergoing surgery.
Police have arrested another 15-year-old boy on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. He remains in custody.
The injured boy was reportedly standing up for his little brother, who also witnessed the attack and was left ‘traumatised’.
The incident happened at 4pm on Wednesday when the streets were packed with children coming home from school.
His injuries are serious but are not considered to be life threatening.
The boy’s mother shared pictures of the cuts and the boy’s bloodstained clothes on social media.
She said: ‘This is what some animals did to my son. He was stabbed five times – three in his back, one in his shoulder, and one in his chin.

‘He is having to have surgery to close the wounds as they are so deep.’
The pictures show the boy on his hospital bed with cuts from where he was attacked.
His mother continued: ‘We know who you are you big cowardly dossers so don’t think you can get away with it,

‘All because they were bullying his little brother and he stuck up for him.
‘He is okay thankfully. I’m traumatised – and his little brother is too as he saw it. He will be okay but will have five nice scars.
‘He has got to have surgery to get them closed up as they are too deep just for stitches.’

‘It’s vile. If he had not had the knife it would have been all over because he picked on the wrong kid to bully. He was really punching his head in while the dosser was putting the knife through him.’
Another relative posted: ‘It was my cousin’s lad they done it to. Cowards – that’s what they are.
‘They can’t fight with there fists so they use knives. He was sticking up for his younger brother who they were bullying.’
Pictures and videos of the incident and its aftermath have caused horror on social media – with many claiming to know the attacker.
One post read: ‘The parents should be made accountable too, one of the lads involved and his two sisters attacked my son and daughter with a brick last year and police saw it all and did nothing. Absolute joke.. Hope the lad is ok.’

A resident said: ‘It’s shocking. I’m so shocked at why kids carry knives and feel so sorry for the poor lad and his family’.
West Yorkshire Police said: ‘A 15-year-old male has been arrested in connection with an incident in Leeds yesterday in which a teenager was stabbed.
‘The male was arrested last night on suspicion of wounding with intent in relation to the incident that occurred near to the junction of Sissons Road and Middleton Park Avenue, in Middleton, shortly before 4pm.
‘The victim, a 15-year-old boy, was treated in hospital for injuries that were serious but not considered life threatening.
‘The arrested youth remains in custody and detectives from Leeds District CID are continuing to carry out enquiries into the incident.’
