President Trump has officially signed a bill urging the Department of Justice to release files related to Jeffrey Epstein, following approval from both the House of Representatives and the Senate.

In a post on Truth Social on Wednesday night, Trump shared his thoughts on the matter.

However, as reported by The New York Times, Trump’s signature doesn’t ensure that all documents will be made public. The legislation includes notable exceptions, such as clauses protecting ongoing investigations, which may result in certain files remaining undisclosed.

The NY Times noted that “Mr. Trump’s signature does not guarantee the release of all the files. The bill contains significant exceptions, including a provision protecting continuing investigations, which could mean many documents would stay confidential.”
