The 19-year-old Brit allegedly attacked the bouncer after being asked to leave a bar on Magaluf’s party strip in summer 2019.

The alleged attacker was arrested but returned to the UK after paying £13,000 bail.

The man claimed that he had acted in self-defence.

Officials in Majorca issued an arrest order after the Brit went AWOL and failed to respond to court communications.

It is not immediately clear when the fugitive was made a wanted man or where in the UK he had been held.

Public prosecutors want the man jailed for 5 years and made to pay £23,000 in compensation if convicted of a crime of wounding with a dangerous weapon.
