DHS Decimates 'South Park' With the Perfect Troll, Their Response Is Truly Lame

“South Park” has made fun of a lot of people and things over the years. It’s delivered some truly classic humor and characters.

a recent episode where the show mocked President Donald Trump. I think most of the people on the right weren’t offended by it. On the other hand, I admit that I didn’t find it funny. Not because it was critical of Trump, they’ve done a mocking portrayal of him before, and some of that has been funny. But this was just kind of lame and a reach, with penis humor and Trump begging for sex from Satan. It didn’t match their past efforts.

The White House issued a statement saying “South Park” hadn’t been “relevant” in twenty years.

posted a fake, virtually naked Trump, with another attempt at failed penis humor. Again, not the intelligent humor that used to be their bread and butter.

“South Park” also put out a trailer for their August 6 episode including a depiction of ICE, showing agents in cars with their faces covered.

The Department of Homeland Security had the perfect response. They used a still from the trailer that “South Park” posted. This is intelligently done, taking “South Park’s” attempt and flipping it back on them, using it to promote “JOIN.ICE.GOV.”

That links to advertising for ICE jobs, explaining the benefits of applying, including a signing bonus. It appeals to patriotism with the famous Uncle Sam picture that says, “America needs you.”
