Wilson, a senior math instructor at Spelman College, was found dead on the lake on Sunday morning.

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources started searching the lake for the missing pair when game wardens found the empty boat without power on Saturday afternoon.

Officers immediately began searching the lake, which spans 19,000 acres in central Georgia, using SONAR equipment.

Witnesses told investigators they saw two people on the boat earlier that day.

It’s unclear how the two ended up overboard.

The relationship between Wilson and Jones is unclear.

Cops didn’t reveal how Wilson died.

Jones is a teacher and coach at Westminster Schools, a private Christian school in Atlanta.

“Gary Jones is a beloved Westminster faculty member, coach, and parent,” Westminster Schools said in a statement, according to ABC affiliate WSB-TV.

“On Sunday, we received word from his family that Gary had gone missing while spending time at an area lake.

“Our entire community is praying for his safe return and for his family during this difficult moment.”
