Harry and Meghan will ‘stop writing books and documentaries’ as they have ‘nothing left to say’

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are to stop making tell-all Netflix documentaries, publishing memoirs and sitting down for interviews that bash the Royal Family, as insiders claim they have ‘nothing left to say’.

More than three years after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to ditch life in the Royal Family for pastures new in California, the pair will take a step back, only remaining behind the scenes of any future Netflix production.

The drastic change of direction follows their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey back in 2021, a six-part Netflix docuseries called Harry & Meghan and the Prince’s tell-all memoir Spare.

These included blistering attacks on members of the Royal Family, including King Charles, Queen Camilla, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as well as the wider institution.

Now the couple plan to take on roles further away from the glare of the public eye.

‘That period of their life is over — as there is nothing left to say’, one source told The Sun.

The Duke and Duchess have been mocked on a number of occasions following their very public revelations.

This included being featured on an episode of South Park where they were relentlessly ridiculed.

It depicted the pair as the Prince and Princess of Canada – a young royal couple who loudly beg for privacy while drawing attention to themselves.

The red-headed prince and his wife, who wears the same dusty pink outfit that Meghan donned for Trooping the Color in 2018, along with a near-identical white hat that sits askew on her head, are seen promoting the prince’s book – Waaagh – the cover of which strongly resembles Harry’s memoir Spare.

They storm off during a TV show after being challenged about their motives, before moving to South Park, with the princess declaring: ‘If we moved here, people would think we’re really serious about wanting to be normal.’

Prince Harry’s memoir Spare, which was released earlier this year, was slammed by some for not being a book based on ‘so-called objective facts’ it declared to be.

In their Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan they opened up on what had happened leading up to their move from the UK to California

While royal expert Duncan site, author of Prince Harry, claimed that the pair’s interview with Oprah in 2021, regretted and was ’embarrassed’ over the interview, where they claimed that a family member made ‘troubling’ comments about the skin colour of his son, Archie, related to ‘unconscious bias’, not racism.

Prince Harry has since denied that any members of the royal family were accused of racism in an interview with ITV’s Tom Bradby earlier this year.

When the conversation moved to the Oprah interview, Bradby told Harry he had accused members of his family of ‘racism’. Harry responded by saying ‘no I didn’t’, adding ‘the British press said that’.

The decision to halt the making of documentaries and books comes less than two weeks after Harry and Meghan declared they had been in a ‘near catastrophic’ car chase involving paparazzi through the streets of New York.

A spokesman for the Sussexes at the time claimed the prince, his wife Meghan, as well as his mother-in-law Doria Ragland, were the victims of a ‘relentless pursuit lasting more than two hours’ as they left an awards ceremony.
