Scarlette Douglas took to Instagram on Tuesday to share some secrets from her time on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!

The TV presenter explained how she managed to have secret cups of tea inside the camp, admitting that her fellow celebrities ‘still don’t know’.

Her contraban revelation comes after the star was the second celebrity to leave the Australian jungle last week, following Charlene White’s departure.

Scarlette and the I’m A Celebrity accounts posted a joint video to their followers, as the star returned to the jungle in a fresh ensemble to answer a Q&A from fans on her time during the jungle.

‘Were you able to get a cup of tea?,’ questioned one fan named William.

While she admitted: ‘I was because I was a mole, so I got to go underground and what happens undderground stays underground. The campmates still don’t know.’

She was allowed to have the hot beverage as a treat for being a ‘mole’ alongside Lioness Jill Scott, with the pair both recruited by Matt Hancock and Seann Walsh.

The quartet were allowed in a top secret ‘Mole HQ’, where there was tea and sweet treats.

The former A Place In The Sun presenter left just two days following Loose Women Charlene’s departure, and was in the bottom two to go alongside campmate Babatunde Aleshe – who were the only two remaining none-white campmates.

And the departures saw the ITV show become embroiled in a race row for the second year in a row, after Naughty Boy, Kadeena Cox and DJ Snoochie Shy were evicted early on in the 2021 series – leaving an all-white camp line-up.

Fans of the ITV show accused viewers of racism on Twitter following Scarlette’s shock departure, with one saying: ‘Notice how not one single black person has ever won I’m A Celeb.’

Another tweeted: ‘Stop bringing race into it, two out, both black women when there’s horrible problematic white men still in there. And let’s not forget a black person has never won this show. Race is relevant when there is an obvious pattern.’

A third viewer said: ‘If you still need proof that racism is very much alive and kicking in this country, two black women have now been consecutively voted out and the only black man in the jungle was in close danger of leaving. Still think we’re pulling the race card, boomers?’

The ITV show’s winners have been consistently white throughout its 20-year history.
