‘Joe Biden just secured Trump’s nomination’ in 2024 after indictment: Republican Rep. Nancy Mace says charges will help former President – and asks why Biden is getting away with Burisma ‘bribe’

GOP Rep. Nancy Mace said that President Biden’s Department of Justice had ‘secured Donald Trump‘s nomination’ for the presidency in indicting the former president over classified documents.
‘I want to be very clear here, Donald Trump and I have had our ups and downs,’ the South Carolina Republican told Fox News.
‘Make no mistake, this is the Executive Branch tonight trying to take out their number one opponent for the presidency of the United States in 2024,’ she went on. ‘Joe Biden just secured Donald Trump’s nomination for Republicans in 2024.’
Trump has been indicted on seven federal charges – including conspiracy, a violation of the Espionage Act, and classified documents retention – related to the documents he took with him after the left the White House.
Trump’s most recent charge – which he has called a persecution – marks the first time in U.S. history that a former president has faced federal charges.

Mace sounded off about the fact President Biden, along with former Vice President Mike Pence and every president since Ronald Reagan, has been found to have mishandled classified documents.
‘They have one standard for Donald Trump and another standard for everybody else in this thing. If you look at the documents that President Biden had in his possession, in his garage, thousands of boxes God knows where in places across the country that we don’t even know yet. Hillary Clinton having a server in her bathroom in her home with classified information on private email servers. Everyone is held to a different standard but Donald Trump.’
ABC News reported that the 76-year-old faces four separate counts, all of which carry a potential prison time of up to 20 years.
These include: conspiracy to obstruct justice; withholding a document or record; corruptly concealing a document or record; and concealing a document in a federal investigation.

One count carries a 10 year sentence: willful retention of national defense information.
And the final two counts have a maximum of five years each: scheme to conceal, and false statements and representations. Trump’s indictment remains under seal, but his decision to publicize it means feds could unseal it as early as Friday, ahead of next Tuesday’s court appearance in Miami.
Mace also linked the indictment of Trump to her Oversight Committee’s probing of the FBI and its handling of alleged foreign payments to Biden and his family.
‘Every time Biden comes under the microscope, every time we show corruption by Joe Biden and his family there’s an indictment on Donald Trump.’
‘Donald Trump is no fan of mine. he primaried me last year. I’m not a shill, but I see this, how unfair it’s been,’ she went on.
Other House Republicans have fired off attacks against the DOJ and even begun to question why other candidates are running against Trump in 2024.
‘Any candidate for the Presidency who refuses to immediately, unequivocally, and publicly denounce the [DOJ]’s …politically-motivated witch hunt against President Trump is nothing short of an enemy of the people,’ GOP Rep. Andy Ogles, Tenn., wrote on Twitter.
‘The entire Democrat Leviathan has been mobilized against President Trump. The DOJ, the FBI, prosecutors in New York, prosecutors in Georgia, the mainstream media, etc. But we’re going to have a GOP primary? America, Donald Trump will be Republican Nominee,’ said freshman Maryland Republican Rep. Wesley Hunt.
This is Trump’s second indictment this year – earlier he was charged by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg with in a case linked to hush money payments made to porn star Stormy Daniels.
