The witness stand is where American rapper and actor Kid Cudi will be appearing on Thursday, May 22. He is scheduled to testify in the ongoing federal trial that centers around music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.

According to court documents, prosecutors allege that Diddy orchestrated a firebombing of Kid Cudi’s convertible in reaction to his brief romantic relationship with Cassie, Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, over a decade ago.

According to Daily Mail, Cudi, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, is scheduled to testify about the incident and his relationship with Cassie, which reportedly took place 14 years ago.

The testimony is expected to provide key insight into what prosecutors describe as Diddy’s pattern of violent and retaliatory behavior.

He is not expected to appear before the court until Thursday, as prosecutors informed the judge on Wednesday.
