Reality TV star Stephen Bear put on a loved-up display with his girlfriend Jessica Smith as they arrived at court for the second day of his revenge porn trial

Reality TV star Stephen Bear doubled the cost of his OnlyFans subscription after posting a sex tape while his ex Georgia Harrison ‘hid in her room in shame’, a court has been told.

Bear, 32, of Loughton, Essex, is accused of secretly filming having sex with his ex partner Harrison, 27, on CCTV cameras in his garden and then uploading the footage to adult website OnlyFans.

The Ex on the Beach star denies voyeurism and two counts of disclosing private, sexual photographs and films.

Bear put on a loved-up display with his current girlfriend Jessica Smith as they arrived at court in a white Rolls Royce for the second day of his revenge porn trial.

He was seen kissing Instagram influencer and model Smith, outside Chelmsford Crown Court on Wednesday morning.

Ms Harrison, a Love Island contestant, said Bear only told her of the camera an hour into having sex – after which she saw a short clip and asked him not to share it with anyone.

The former Celebrity Big Brother winner is accused of sharing the video on Whatsapp before uploading it to OnlyFans, where prosecutor Jacqueline Carey KC said 273 people paid £8.15 to watch it, in November 2020.

Ms Carey said during the opening of Bear’s trial the OnlyFans account was active from October to December 2020 and had 1,061 subscribers.

Giving evidence at Cheltenham Crown Court on Wednesday, Ms Harrison, who waived her right to anonymity, said: ‘After this happened I was in the worst state of my life.

‘I can’t explain the shame I felt. I did not want to leave my room. Instead of apologising, he put his subscription price up from £25 to £50.

‘If he did it or not, which I believe he did, that is no way to act. It is brazen and he knows what he has done.’

Ms Harrison said she consented to having sex with Bear in his garden but did not want him to share the video and told him she would report him to the police if he did.

When asked by Gemma Rose, defending, if she knows Bear uploaded the video himself and if she has seen it with her own eyes, she said: ‘I knew it originated from him but I did not think he would be monetising it on a verified account. That is so stupid on his part and so evil.

‘It was on his account for a month. That is the evidence. I have seen screenshots. I have seen the promotion when he puts me at 50% off.’

Ms Rose asked her: ‘You used the term ‘revenge porn’. Are you only saying that now because of these charges?’

Ms Harrison replied: ‘I am using those words because I am 100% confident that’s what it is. I wanted to make clear to Stephen Bear what would happen if he sent those videos.

‘It upset me. It ruined my life. I thought he had respect for me. There was a time when I really did love him and he took me round saying he respected me, he loved me, and at the time I thought he had a promising career on television and he would not do what he did.

‘But looking back, I was an absolute idiot.’

Yesterday, Bear, of Loughton, Essex, arrived for day one of his trial at Chelmsford Crown Court in a chaffeur-driven white Rolls Royce.

The Celebrity Big Brother winner posed for waiting photographers, giving a peace sign and walking hand-in-hand with Smith in matching pink outfits.

Former Love Island contestant Harrison told the court yesterday that her right to anonymity ‘realistically disappeared’ after Bear uploaded a sex tape on an adult website.

She waived her lifelong right to anonymity, afforded to complainants of sexual offences, and told the court she was entitled to ‘some form of compensation’ for the sex tape which had since been viewed by almost 300 people, paying more than £8 each.

Harrison was asked by the prosecution why she had waived her right to anonymity, to which she replied: ‘My right to anonymity realistically disappeared the moment it [the footage] surfaced.’

She added: ‘It was taken away from me, I didn’t have a chance anyway, so it was pointless having my name taken out of articles. I have been named publicly.’

Explaining that she was pursuing a civil case against Bear, she said: ‘I’ve lost a lot from my career and just in general.

‘Really I feel I should be getting some form of compensation from what Bear’s done.’

Under the Sexual Offences Act 2003, complainants of almost all sexual offences including rape, sexual assault and voyeurism, are granted automatic and lifelong anonymity.

Their identity cannot be made public unless they waive their legal right.

Earlier this year, the Law Commission of England and Wales recommended that automatic lifelong anonymity was extended to include all victims of intimate image abuse, including revenge porn.

Plans are being drawn up by the Government to change the law, granting anonymity of victims of revenge porn, deep fakes and other offences where sexual images are shared online without their consent, as part of the Online Safety Bill.

The alleged offences are said to have taken place in August 2020 and in November 2020.

He was arrested in January 2021 on his birthday at Heathrow Airport following a trip to Dubai, and charged in May.

Ms Harrison, who has also appeared on The Only Way is Essex and Olivia Meets Mer Match, waived her right to anonymity to MailOnline in relation to the case.

The trial continues.
