According to the sources, Calvin Magee’s net worth is around $5 million to $7 million.

From 1985 to 1988, he was a professional American football tight end with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Calvin joined the University of South Florida’s inaugural coaching staff in 1996, shortly after completing a high school coaching career in the Tampa region, and remained there until 2001, when he joined Rich Rodriguez’s staff at West Virginia University. Magee accompanied Rodriguez to the University of Michigan in 2008, where he served as offensive coordinator until the 2010 season when Rodriguez and his staff were sacked. 

Rodriguez is credited with developing the spread option offense, Magee used to run in West Virginia and Michigan. Thousands of high schools and even collegiate programs use this offense. In 2007, Magee was a nominee for the Broyles Award, which honors the best collegiate assistant coach.

 

 

When Rich Rodriguez was fired as Michigan’s head football coach, Magee joined Todd Graham’s staff on the Pittsburgh Panthers football club. For the 2011 season, he was the offensive coordinator.

Rich Rodriguez announced Magee’s appointment as offensive coordinator at the University of Arizona on December 5, 2011. He also coaches the running backs. 

Magee was named offensive coordinator and running backs coach at the University of New Mexico on January 20, 2018. Magee was named the University of Mississippi’s tight ends coach on January 2, 2019.
