Borussia Dortmund plan to hold talks with Jude Bellingham about his future after the World Cup, according to CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke.
The England midfielder is regarded as one of the hottest properties on the planet after proving himself as arguably Dortmund‘s biggest star.

Despite being just 19, Bellingham has made 112 appearances for the German side, scoring 19 and providing 21 assists while also captaining them on a number of occasions.
With 17 England caps to his name as well, it’s astonishing to think that he doesn’t turn 20 until next summer.
His birthday celebrations could be boosted by a high-profile transfer with the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea all keen to sign the player at the end of the season.
While his contract expires in 2025, speculation over Bellingham’s future is hard to ignore and after heading to the World Cup with Gareth Southgate’s side, his future will become a top priority for Dortmund.
Speaking on Bilde-TV, Watzke said: “I think as soon as Qatar is over, we’re going to have a basic conversation about what he actually wants.
“With him, with his parents, with whom we have a very close relationship and of course with his advisor. And then he should just tell us whether he wants to stay or whether he wants to go.

“Either way, we’ll discuss it pleasantly and reasonably.
“But we don’t have to pretend that the topic isn’t on the table.
“When the really big ones are there, we can’t afford to fight financially either.
“Jude is a wonderful boy who also has his fluctuations – we’ve seen that now but he is certainly one of the greatest talents in European football.”
