The OKC Thunder will welcome the Denver Nuggets to the Paycom Center for an NBA game on Thursday. The Thunder won their last game as they defeated the Orlando Magic 116-108. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander top scored for Oklahoma with 34 points and he also dished out 6 assists. Aleksej Pokuševski came off the bench to score 16 points and had 9 rebounds.

Thunder coach Mark Daigneault spoke highly about Shai and said after the game, “Great poise. That’s probably the thing that stands out about that stretch. I still don’t think he’s playing his best basketball for 48 at least, and I don’t think he will (think so) either after tonight. But in the fourth quarter, for sure.”

The Denver Nuggets on the other hand lost their last game 121-110 to the Los Angeles Lakers. Nikola Jokic scored 23 points and had 14 rebounds while Jamal Murray dropped 21 points and had 5 assists. Aaron Gordon and Michael Porter Jr scored 18 and 17 points respectively.

Aaron Gordon lamented at the fact that they did not take advantage of the game when they had the chance. Speaking after the game, he said, “They were playing with desperation and I felt like we had them and let it slip away.”
