Tottenham are confident of keeping Harry Kane at the club this summer, talkSPORT understands.

That’s despite interest from Manchester United, with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy keen not to sell to a Premier League rival.

The 29-year-old has just come to the end of a fine individual season with Spurs in which he scored 30 Premier League goals.

Kane’s contract at the north London side is set to expire next year, with clubs interested in a potential deal in the coming weeks.

Manchester United have the striker at the top of their shopping list as they eye a new star to lead the line.

However, Levy has no desire to sell Kane to a Premier League rival.

Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are also monitoring his situation, with both sides offering Champions League football.

Kane will be a free agent next summer when his contract expires, but Spurs are keen to award him a new long-term deal.

The forward scored two goals in their 4-1 win against Leeds on the final day of the season.

He has capped off another memorable campaign, and is now the second highest scorer in Premier League history.

Alan Shearer still leads the way on 260, with Kane creeping up on the former Newcastle and Blackburn star on 213.

Should he remain in the top flight of English football, he could very well secure the crown for himself.

Kane has been linked with a departure in the past, with Manchester City showing interest in 2021.
