The “Trigun” anime series is an adaptation of the manga of the same name by Yasuhiro Nightow. The manga originally ran in Monthly Shonen Captain from 1995 to 1997 before returning as “Trigun Maximum” in Young King Ours in 1997 and running until 2007. The manga has been published in English by Dark Horse Comics.

The original anime adaptation of “Trigun” aired in Japan in 1998 and ran for 26 episodes.
