A few times a year, a unique version of the store called the Night Market pops up for a brief period of time. Players will be able to choose from six drastically discounted skins when the Night Market launches. Players won’t see listings for the skins they already own in the Night Market or the Store.

Store

The in-game shop is the quickest and most convenient place to buy weapon skins. For $5, $10, $20, $35, $50, or $100, players can purchase VALORANT Points, which are required to buy skins from the store. At the top of the store, there will be a featured bundle that will change every few weeks. Purchase of the entire bundle or specific skins or items from within a bundle will provide players with the greatest value.

Additionally, players have access to a skins store that rotates every 24 hours. These skins typically appear in earlier bundles and only occasionally reappear. Based on their rarity, these cosmetics are priced differently. There is no guarantee that any skins you are looking for will return to your store any time soon, so make sure to purchase them.

Battle pass and agent contracts

Players can unlock premium and free items from a battle pass for each VALORANT Act. These include player cards, sprays, and weapon skins as well as gun buddies. By finishing the battle pass within the allotted time, you can unlock a variety of weapon skins. Every battle pass’s final tier is always a melee skin.

A few skins can also be obtained for nothing by completing in-game challenges. Players can use experience points to unlock the 10-tier contracts for each agent. Each contract ends with a skin for a secondary weapon like the Sheriff or Ghost as the final prize. This is a great free method to open up lots of secondary skins. VALORANT skins are purely cosmetic items with no gameplay implications. Don’t feel compelled to buy skins because they only let you customize your loadout and offer no benefit.
