WWE putting limitations on the Great Muta vs Shinsuke Nakamura match

In NJPW, where he was recognized as one of the top professional wrestlers in the world and was known as the King Of Strong Style, Shinsuke Nakamura became well-known. The Great Muta’s final singles bout will pit him against a different Japanese icon. WWE is imposing further limitations on the contest, though.

Recently, it was revealed that The Great Muta and Shinsuke Nakamura would duel on January 1, 2023, at the NOAH The New Year event. This match has sparked a lot of fan excitement as well. Vince McMahon previously opposed this, but once Triple H seized control of the company’s creative direction, things changed.

WWE will reportedly impose limits on Nakamura’s forthcoming major bout, according to Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He said, “WWE is allowing Shinsuke Nakamura to wrestle Muta on the 1/1 Pro Wrestling NOAH show at Budokan Hall. It’s notable they are allowing him not only to wrestle but for NOAH to stream the show live on Abema. There is a precedent in the sense that WWE allowed KENTA to compete on a NOAH show on September 1, 2018, while under contract with them, but generally this hasn’t been allowed.”

Shinsuke Nakamura vs Great Muta will not be aired

Even though they are permitted to telecast the match, WWE isn’t letting NOAH get away with anything. Additionally, it was mentioned, “There are restrictions made regarding NOAH promoting the event outside Japan and in English. NOAH is allowed to do the promo video and match graphic which was released, and press releases with his name in it, but there are other restrictions in place including not being allowed to mention WWE anywhere else.” In relation to the match, Triple H also contacted NOAH. The outcome of the game must be anticipated, therefore we must wait and watch.
