After impressing judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace with her toad in the hole in the episode, Katie, 43, told cameras: ‘I’m really happy that I’m still in, really happy. I’m excited and nervous. Never underestimate the Pricey.’

The mother-of-five was competing against fellow celebrities Joe Swash, ex footballer Dion Dublin, actor Melissa Johns and furniture expert Will Kirk, with the latter being eliminated at the end of the episode.

Katie also offered a glimpse into life at home with her five children during the pandemic, comparing herself to ‘a school dinner lady’ when it comes to feeding her brood.

‘Because it’s COVID I have spent more time in the kitchen, but the trouble with this show is you’re not allowed to use tinned stuff,’ Katie quipped.

She added: ‘You have to make it from scratch. I’m like a school dinner lady. Big pots, five kids, and I just chuck it all in.’

One neighbour told MailOnline ‘There was something kicking off because I heard loads of shouting and screaming. It was definitely going off.

‘It was anti social and sounded like a load of p***heads coming back from the pub. There was a real kerfuffle.

‘Then I saw a car parked across the road for ages. Around half an hour after that I heard loads of talking.

‘I came downstairs to see what was going, but I don’t know what time it was because I didn’t have my phone with me. I didn’t see or hear any cops. I didn’t see any blue lights.’

Another said: ‘We heard an argument at about 11pm. I didn’t hear anything at 1.30am when the police were supposed to have been called because I was asleep.

‘I know that Katie Price had been living next door. I don’t think I had heard any big arguments before last night.’
