We are watching a line of severe weather heading into western Georgia and the Florida Panhandle. This rain will weaken but make things wet this afternoon.
It will rain for about 30 minutes at most locations so flooding is not a big concern. A few storms may be strong near Waycross and Lake City but we are expecting mostly brief heavy rain around Jacksonville from 1-3 pm.
Today will be warm in the lower 80s before the rain moves in.
The rain pushes south by 4 pm with drying taking over this evening with mild temps in the 70s. Clouds clear out overnight and it turns colder Thursday morning in the 50s.
Breezy and sunny 60s Thursday will bring our only coldest day for the next week. Milder weather returns Friday with highs in the upper 70s this weekend and 80s next week.
