Amber alert issued for 7 year old girl in Jacksonville


Kaitlyn LaRocca, 7, is missing in Jacksonville, police said. She may be with Heaven Ulshafer. If you have seen them, call 904-630-0500.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has issued an amber alert for 7-year-old Kaitlyn LaRocca in Duval County.

Kaitlyn was last seen in the 5000 block of Los Santos Way in the Arlington area of Jacksonville on Saturday afternoon.

She is 4 feet tall and 60 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. 

The woman the Florida Department of Law Enforcement says is her abductor is Heaven Ulshafer, 26. According to court documents, Ulshafer is Kaitlyn’s mother but does not have custody of her. 

Ulshafer is a white female, 5 feet 3 inches tall and 120 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. 

In the picture below, Kaitlyn is on the right and Ulshafer is on the left. 

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says that police are attempting to locate both individuals to “ascertain their safety.”
