Has Bill Belichick put a ring on it?
It seems that the renowned 72-year-old football coach and his significantly younger partner, Jordon Hudson, are potentially engaged. This speculation arises after she was spotted wearing a beautiful engagement ring on her left hand at a charity event in New Orleans, as documented in exclusive photos by DailyMail.com.
The couple have dated for three years despite a near-half-century-year age gap, but only went public last year.
Hudson, 24, recently gushed about the new University of North Carolina football coach, 72, in an Instagram post of a bunch of red roses.
It appears the ex-cheerleader posted the bouquet as a hint to fans that their relationship had moved to the next level, as she was spotted wearing the ring just three days later.
She captioned the post with a heart and rose emoji, writing: ‘Behind his stern façade….’
Jordon then upped the stakes by wearing what looked to be a simple silver band with a huge rock on her ring finger at the charity event she set up for those affected by the New Years Day terror attack on Bourbon Street.
Belichick and Jordon put on a loved-up show for those at the dinner, with the brunette chatting animatedly to the coach and touching his arm at Desi’s Vegas Steakhouse.
In a possible nod to her upcoming nuptials, Jordon donned a strapless bridal-white Bardot-style dress which she paired with black heels and a faux fur cover up for a glamorous look.
She coyly hid her left hand when posing for pictures outside the venue but showed off the giant sparkler once inside.
Belichick opted for a smart suit as the pair travelled to The Big Easy ahead of the Super Bowl LIX.
But proposal rumors could hit his ex-girlfriend Linda Holliday, 62, hardest. She spent 16 years by his side with no ring to show for it.
The blonde split from Belichick in 2023, with sources claiming at the time that ‘relationship ran its course’ and that the two had ‘been pretty separate for a while.’
However Jordon shocked fans in January after revealing that she had rung in her third New Year’s Eve with Belichick – appearing to confirm there may have been some crossover between the two women.
Jordon’s caption read: ‘Cheers!!! To our 3rd midnights’ kiss’ before she went off on her detractors.
‘Nothing changed for us in 2024 except for “public knowledge”: yet somehow everything changed. 4th calendar year; going strong.’
She then added in fine print: ‘I can’t wait to take punches for you in 2025. Keep swinging, Keyboard Warriors. Your illusion of righteousness only fuels my authenticity.’
Jordon also gushed over Belichick after his new book, The Art of Winning, was announced, posting the cover on an Instagram story.
‘Witnessing your growth this year has been both an honor and a blessing,’ she wrote.
‘Just when I think you couldn’t possibly impress me more than you already have; here you go again, impressing me.
‘I love learning from you & I love, love, love loving you. Congratulations @billbelichick.’
But the potential for wedding bells aren’t a shock to those close to the football coach, who seems keen to lock in his relationship with his lover as they move to North Carolina together.
The stunning brunette has been by Belichick’s side at every new venture he makes, posing with him for his official photos for UNC.
She also posed for her own photoshoot in UNC gear, and was spotted at North Carolina’s basketball win over Boston College last month sporting a bold look, donning a gray oversized sweatshirt and white knee-high boots.
Belichick first hit it off with Jordon on a flight from Boston to Florida back in 2021 while she was in college.
Back in March, before their romance became public, Belichick was spotted at a cheerleading competition in Maryland – and Jordon attended Netflix’s roast of Tom Brady.
Over the summer, they were spotted enjoying the rays and waves on Nantucket in Massachusetts.
The pair could even follow in the family footsteps and tie the knot on the exclusive island.
Both of Belichick’s sons marrying there. Brian married Catherine McLaughlin in June 2021 just four years after Steve and his wife Jennifer tied the knot in 2017.
All of the family spend summers on the island. Last year Belichick and Hudson hunkered down in a $3 million home after news of their relationship broke.
The former New England Patriots coach also purchased a $4.8million home closer to the main cobbled street in Nantucket for his ex Linda.
He currently owns at least seven properties on the island, with six of them close to each other making up a $15.7 million complex in Siasconset.
Since their relationship was made ‘public knowledge’ – as Hudson put it – last summer, Belichick and the former college cheerleader have often been seen together.
They made their official debut as a couple in December – hitting the red carpet at a gala in New York City.
While there has been plenty of criticism over the age gap it’s clear that neither party seems to mind as their thoughts turn to wedding bells.
