Dionne Miller and ESPN Radio’s Jeff Meller discussed the Chicago Bears’ home-opening loss to the Minnesota Vikings and whether Ben Johnson was outcoached in his debut or Caleb Williams is to blame for the defeat.

Dionne caught up with Chicago native Colton Pouncy, who covers the Detroit Lions for “The Athletic.” They discuss Johnson’s return home to Detroit after leaving the Lions to take the head coaching job in Chicago. Jeff gave some Fantasy Football tips and who players should look to pickup in Week 2 off the waiver wire.

Sam Panayotovich gave the latest betting odds, including how far Ben Johnson has dropped as a favorite to win the Coach of the Year Award after just one loss. Sam also discusses how many wins Notre Dame is expected to win in football this season and if the Bears are favored to beat the Lions in Detroit.

The Chicago White Sox have been officially eliminated from the MLB playoff race and are trying to avoid losing 100 games again. But, the news isn’t all bad, because they also have the best record since August 31. Chicago Cubs legend Anthony Rizzo is retiring, and he’s coming back to the place he never wanted to leave, Wrigley Field, to do it.
