CHICAGO (WLS) — There was a Chicago police shooting on the Far South Side Thursday afternoon. Chicago fire officials said a man was shot during the incident.
The shooting took place near 111th and State streets in Roseland, the Chicago Civilian Office of Police Accountability said.
The man was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition, CFD said.
Two Chicago police officers were taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital, CFD said.
Their conditions were not immediately clear.

COPA is responding to the scene, the agency said on X just before 2:30 p.m.
Chopper 7 was over the scene about 2:30 p.m.
There is a large police presence in the area.
Chicago police did not immediately provide information about what led up to the shooting or what took place.
Some roads appear to be closed in the area.
