Daily Beast and Gloria Allred Trot out Another Woman to Weaponize Against Herschel Walker – RedState

It appears the Daily Beast has been paying attention to Georgia’s polling numbers. The far leftist news site published a piece on Wednesday letting the world know that attorney/grifter Gloria Allred will be holding a press conference later in the day with a woman who claims Republican Senate candidate Herschel Walker also helped her abort their child.

Allred claims the woman will accuse Walker of driving her to an abortion clinic to terminate her pregnancy. The lawyer said the woman would remain anonymous but would provide evidence of her past relationship with the former NFL star.

This supposed revelation comes only weeks after the Daily Beast published its original hit piece detailing the story of another woman who claimed Walker paid for her to have an abortion. She is the mother of one of the children the Republican candidate fathered, but did not publicly claim.

While we don’t know the exact details of the second woman’s story just yet, anyone with an IQ above room temperature knows what this is: a desperate attempt to ensure that Sen. Raphael Warnock keeps his seat. After Walker exceeded admittedly low expectations in the debate, it was clear this race was not in the bag for the Democrat.

Indeed, a new poll shows Walker leading Warnock by four percentage points.

The latest RealClearPolitics average shows Warnock ahead by only half a percentage point.

The reality is that the left is utterly terrified by the reality that Walker could actually win this thing. Despite their constant ridicule of the candidate, they understand that this race could end up not going their way. The Daily Beast, in particular, has been seemingly obsessed with this campaign. They have been hammering Walker since he decided to throw his hat in the ring.

The outlet has hit on every gaffe, every scandalous piece of Walker’s past, and even unearthed some new ones. The abortion controversy was clearly designed to be the knockout blow – an October surprise that would throw him out of the running. Even his son, Christian Walker, became fed up with his father’s many foibles.

At this point, Walker appears to be yet another political figure who is made of Teflon. The fact that he has been open about many of his past issues has actually been a saving grace. He has already admitted to being a not-so-good human being in the past, so even if the abortion allegations are true, they won’t sway anyone’s opinion. Moreover, the midterms are less than two weeks away – it is too late to garner support for Warnock. By now, the vast majority of Georgia voters have already made up their minds. But I suppose they have to try anything they can to make sure Warnock doesn’t lose his job.
