The driver involved in a tragic eight-vehicle collision in California, which resulted in the deaths of three individuals and injuries to at least four others, has been identified.
Authorities reported that Jashanpreet Singh was behind the wheel of a semitrailer that collided with several vehicles on the 10 Freeway in Ontario. The vehicles were moving slowly due to heavy, bumper-to-bumper traffic when the crash occurred.
Officials stated that two of the deceased were in a car so severely crushed that its make and model remain undetermined. The third fatality was in a pickup truck. As of Thursday morning, the names of the victims have not been disclosed.
