A shooting incident at a Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Concord, North Carolina, resulted in four individuals being injured, as confirmed by local law enforcement.
The Concord Police Department reported that three of the victims are in critical condition, while the fourth is stable. All were swiftly transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
The shooting took place at the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony held on Union Street S, near its junction with Corban Avenue, just before 7:30 p.m.
Emergency responders, including police, Concord Fire, and Cabarrus County EMS, were already present at the event and quickly provided medical assistance and facilitated the evacuation.

The remainder of the event was canceled after the shooting.
