Hilary Duff seen after husband responded to cosmetic speculation

Hilary Duff was pictured stepping out in Los Angeles on Wednesday, after her husband recently addressed cosmetic speculation regarding her appearance.

The singer, 37, was seen stopping by the Chloe boutique on Melrose Place in a chic designer outfit.

The mom-of-four showed off her defined and sculpted cheekbones with a natural fresh-faced look.

Duff wore a short-sleeve Gucci top paired with brown bell bottoms and boots. Her her long blonde hair cascaded down her shoulders, framing her face.

She carried a brown bag with a blue teddy bear keycharm dangling from it. Duff further accessorized with gold earrings and a gold watch.

Last month her husband Matthew Koma, 37, proved he’s her biggest defender as he clapped back at comments suggesting that she had gotten cheek filler and Botox.

Duff has not publicly addressed whether she’s tried injectables.

It all started when Duff posted a series of closeups of herself in a canary-yellow sweater dress that emphasized her smooth skin and prominent cheekbones.

Most of the post’s comments fawned over the Lizzie McGuire star and her vibrant look, but her husband zoomed in on one of the rare negative comments after it accused his wife of using Botox to achieve her youthful visage.

‘Why did she do Botox, I swear to god everyone else is the same,’ the commenter wrote, though Hilary has never confirmed that she has used Botox.

‘Get f***ed butterfly,’ Matthew shot back, referencing the original commenter’s username while significantly escalating the situation.

Other replies defended Hilary in less strident tones that her husband, who previously shared a similar sentiment directed at Kanye West.

‘But it actually looks good on her. She didn’t over kill it,’ one person who also though Hilary had used Botox replied.

‘It’s cheek filler not botox,’ another person suggested.

One reply took issue with the original comment: ‘Who cares what she does with her body/face? Why even comment? She’s a kind person many of us looked up to growing up and she can do whatever she wants.’

‘Hating on other women is so toxic,’ they added.

But another user claimed that ‘women hate themselves by modifying their body.’

Botox is a form of injectable botulinum toxin that helps to temporarily smooth wrinkles on the face, and it is also commonly used to prevent spasms, overactive muscles and other conditions.

So far, Hilary hasn’t confirmed using Botox or other fillers.

In a 2022 cover story for Women’s Health magazine, Hilary explained that she wanted to prioritize her mental health in the same way that she thought many women focus on their appearance.

‘We bust our a** to get our bodies in shape and to look the best we can. We get facials and Botox and our hair done and highlights and brows and lash lifts and all this s***. But I want to work on the inside,’ she said.

‘That’s the most important part of the system.’

Hilary and her husband Matthew revealed that they were dating back in January 2017, though they briefly split later that year, before reuniting in October.

Matthew proposed in May 2019, and the couple tied the knot just days before Christmas in 2019.

The lovebirds went on to welcome three children: daughters Banks, six; Mae, four; and Townes, 11 months.

Hilary also shares an older son, 13-year-old Luca, with her ex-husband Mike Comrie, whom she was married to from 2010 to 2016.
