The Vatican published pictures on Sunday of Pope Francis’ tomb at the Basilica of Saint Mary Major, also called Santa Maria Maggiore, in Rome.

Once the cardinals paid their tributes, the basilica welcomed the public, drawing in thousands of visitors eager to see where Pope Francis, who passed away on Easter Monday, now rests.
