Jodie Foster was seen on a rare outing with her youngest son Kit in New York City on Tuesday afternoon.
The 21-year-old towered over his 60-year-old actress mother as they strolled the crowded streets with Jodie’s devoted wife of nearly a decade, Alexandra Hedison, 53.
Jodie — who was last pictured with Kit in the summer of 2021 — looked casual-cool in a plain white tee and green pants with a bright yellow hat on her head.
The tight knit family stopped by a number of storefronts, including a boba tea shop for drinks to-go.
They made the long trek from Manhattan’s West Village neighborhood to Rockefeller Center in Midtown Manhattan.

Jodie shares Kit, as well as 24-year-old son Charles, with her film producer ex-partner, Cydney Bernard.
She and Cydney split in May 2008 after 15 years together.
They began dating in 1993 after meeting on the set of the romance drama, Sommersby.
Both Kit and Charles were conceived by in vitro fertilization (IVF) but Jodie has never revealed the identity of the boys’ father.
She has also made it a point to keep her and Cydney’s sons out of the Hollywood spotlight.
The Taxi Driver star did bring Kit and Charles to the 2013 Golden Globes, where they watched her receive the Cecil B DeMille lifetime achievement award.
Her ‘heroic co-parent’ Cydney was also present for the honor.
In her acceptance speech, Jodie called her sons ‘amazing’ and credited them as her ‘reason to breathe and to evolve.’
The two-time Academy Award-winner previously admitted that, as her boys have gotten older, it’s been hard to let them go.
‘Letting go has been challenging. And that’s what I’m doing now. It’s the worrying. That’s what you will find,’ she told Us Weekly in 2018.
‘Just because they’re asleep doesn’t mean you stop worrying about them. There’s a switch that gets turned on that never gets turned off.’
After splitting from Cydney, Jodie became romantically linked to screenwriter/producer Cindy Mort in 2009.
They’re said to have met while working on the psychological thriller The Brave One in 2006.

Jodie was reportedly left devastated after Cindy called off their short-lived romance in September 2009.
Five years later, the Silence Of The Lambs star secretly wed fellow actress and director, Alexandra.
They were together for just one year before tying the knot.
The couple were last photographed publicly in January of this year as they enjoyed time in New York City.
