Bad Bunny took on hosting duties for SNL’s season 51 premiere – and the rapper’s opening monologue was humorously crashed by Jon Hamm.

The 31-year-old musician, who is slated to perform at the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show next year, shared his thoughts on his recent residency in Puerto Rico and mentioned some famous faces that attended the events.

A few months earlier in August, Hamm went viral after footage showed him grooving at Bad Bunny’s concert.

At the time, the Mad Men alum donned a bucket hat and patterned shirt while also holding a drink in his hand as he showcased his dance moves.

“Some celebrities came to my show. A few of them were on drugs,” Bad Bunny informed the audience. “And I won’t name names, but one of them was Jon Hamm.”

The reel was then played, causing the crowd to erupt into laughter. ‘Actually, that wasn’t Jon Hamm, that was Juan Jamon,’ the star joked.

The camera then cut to Hamm in the live audience as he flashed a big smile while mimicking the dance moves.

The actor also sported the same outfit he had worn to the concert as the audience broke out into applause over the surprise cameo.

‘I think he’s obsessed with me,’ Bad Bunny added.

The music artist also poked fun at his own choreography during his performances on stage.

He continued, “I just wrapped up a 31-show stint in Puerto Rico and I’m still a bit exhausted because each show lasts three hours and involves a lot of complex choreography.”

A short video then showed the rapper slowly jumping from left to right rather than doing complicated dance moves.

‘That looked simple, but that took me a long time to learn,’ Bad Bunny told the crowd. ‘Trust me.’

The rapper also referenced to his upcoming headlining gig at the Super Bowl Halftime Show next year in February.

‘Anyway, you might not know this, but I’m doing the Super Bowl Halftime Show. And I’m very happy, and I think everyone is happy about it.’

The star also shared, ‘And I know that people all around the world who love my music are also happy.’

Bad Bunny then began to speak in Spanish, with people from the live audience continuing to cheer in response.

He briefly paused and instead of translating, he jokingly added, ‘And if you didn’t understand what I just said, you have four months to learn.’

The performer had the chance to show off his comedic skills while appearing a number of skits throughout the night.

In one, Bad Bunny played a character named Thomas who was joining his pals for brunch to catch up.

The group talked about films that they want to see, such as Leonardo DiCaprio’s latest movie One Battle After Another as well as Netflix’s Frankenstein.

The rapper then said he enjoyed the animated movie KPop Demon Hunters – which dropped on Netflix in August.
