According to sources familiar with the matter, CNBC reported that Meta Platforms is set to introduce a new standalone Meta AI app in the second quarter. This new app will be in addition to the existing platforms of Facebook and Instagram.

Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, aims to position the company as a frontrunner in the field of AI by the end of the year. This strategic move is part of Meta’s goal to outperform rivals such as OpenAI and Alphabet in the AI sector, as reported by CNBC.
