In a surprising turn of events, a Michigan resident has credited ChatGPT for her $100,000 Powerball win, as reported by the Michigan Lottery on Thursday.
Forty-five-year-old Tammy Carvey emerged as a winner in the Powerball drawing on September 6, securing an initial prize of $50,000. However, this amount was doubled thanks to the Power Play feature.
“I tend to play Powerball only when the jackpot reaches significant amounts, and with the jackpot surpassing $1 billion, I decided to purchase a ticket,” Carvey shared with Lottery officials. “I asked ChatGPT to generate a set of Powerball numbers, and those are the exact numbers I used for my ticket.”
