NEW: Trump Indictment Reportedly Has a New Day, and Details on When He Will Surrender

As Tuesday winds down, it’s becoming clear that the arrest of Donald Trump isn’t going to happen as originally proclaimed on the former president’s Truth Social feed. A new exclusive from The Daily Mail is providing fresh details.

According to the report, Trump is expected to be indicted on Wednesday after a final witness appears before the grand jury. The Daily Mail makes it sound definitive in its headline, but the fact that there’s still outstanding testimony to present gives me pause.

Donald Trump will likely be indicted on Wednesday but won’t appear before a judge in New York until next week, DailyMail.com has learned.

‘There will be no arraignment this week,’ a source familiar with the proceedings told DailyMail.com exclusively on Tuesday.

The former president, who is currently in Florida, is expected to be formally charged tomorrow, after which the Manhattan District Attorney’s office will reach out to Trump and his Secret Service detail to make arrangements for his surrender, according to the insider.

As I laid out in a past report, the grand jury meets on a Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday schedule. That led me to speculate that we weren’t going to see an indictment on Tuesday no matter what, and that appears to have been borne out. The report of a Wednesday indictment would mean jury deliberations concluding in short order, something else that isn’t a certainty unless the game truly is rigged.

Yet, this “insider” not only says Wednesday is the day, but that the District Attorney’s office is already planning to reach out to the Secret Service to arrange Trump’s surrender. The latter part of that is actually fairly easy to believe. There was never going to be an extradition fight. Not only does the US Constitution demand extradition, but Trump is not going to miss his chance to flaunt the situation. Expect him to be smiling like the Cheshire Cat in his mug shot if it comes to that.

Meanwhile, banks are collapsing, wars are raging, and Joe Biden’s brain continues to liquefy. This Soros-backed DA is putting on a sideshow to stroke his own ego and satisfy the wishes of the far-left while real issues are pushed onto the back burner. I’m not sure the majority of the American people are going to look kindly at that, especially after it becomes apparent how incredibly weak the case is.

Still, there’s a slim possibility that the grand jury simply votes to not indict and all this was for naught. If that happens, some people are going to have some explaining to do.
