Suggestion: If you’re going to issue a correction of something you first claimed was correct, it’s probably not a good idea if your “correction” is even more ridiculous than your original claim.
Yet, that’s exactly what (taxpayer-funded, which still irks the hell out of me) National Public Radio (NPR) did on Friday when it tweeted a correction to an initial tweet in which it claimed there’s “limited scientific evidence” men have athletic advantages over women. First, let’s check out the correction:

We’ll revisit the silly “correction” in a minute. Trust me.
So NPR deleted its “limited scientific evidence of physical advantage,” but fortunately, the internet is forever; particularly when we have a screenshot of the deleted claim (emphasis, mine):
The international body for track and field will ban trans women athletes from elite women’s competitions, citing a priority for fairness over inclusion despite limited scientific evidence of physical advantage.
Again, I ask: Um, huh?

Two words: Lia Thomas.
Coincidentally, ESPN, in all of its “woke” glory, recently honored ex-William Thomas as part of its series marking Women’s History Month.
“Oh HELL NO!” former Fox News and “Today” host Megyn Kelly blasted ESPN, in response to a video clip showing Thomas, who was born a male before “transitioning” to a “woman.” being lauded on ESPN.
Kelly echoed the sentiments of former University of Kentucky swimmer Riley Gaines, who tweeted:
Lia Thomas is not a brave, courageous woman who EARNED a national title. He is an arrogant cheat who STOLE a national title from a hardworking, deserving woman. If I was a woman working at ESPN, I would walk out.
Amen. Squared.

Gains was referencing 2022’s 500-yard freestyle competition in the NCAA championships which the 6-foot-1 Thomas, a fifth-year senior, won by besting the runner-up by close to two seconds.
Moreover, Thomas, who was a men’s swimmer during the first three years of his collegiate career at UPenn, has repeatedly said “she” doesn’t need anyone’s permission to compete as a woman.
Incidentally, in the 2018–2019 season, while competing as a male, Thomas was ranked 54th in the 200 freestyle, 65th in the 500 freestyle, and 32nd in the 1650 freestyle. Need I say more?
Anyway, I thought I’d toss this in, just for “grins.”

Is Sanity Returning?
The good news is, sanity is slowly beginning to right the women’s sports ship.
World Track and Field, one of the world’s largest sports governing bodies, announced Thursday that it would ban biological males who identify as females from competing in women’s sports categories. Champion cyclist Hannah Arensman previously said she quit the sport due to the presence of transgender competitors.
In June 2022, the international swimming federation FINA announced a policy to ban biologically male athletes who have gone through male puberty from competing in women’s competitions.
Additionally, and perhaps more importantly, 19 states have now passed legislation to ban boys from competing in girls’ sports. Bravo to the kids of both sexes. (With faux apologies to the “woke,” among us.)
The Bottom Line
The “scientific evidence,” of which NRP nonsensically claims “limited research exists,” backs up real-world evidence of redundantly-labeled “biological males” kicking the hell out of females in multiple women’s sports — and breaking women’s records galore.
“All of the above” should be as much evidence as any reasonably intelligent, non-woke person needs to clearly see the travesty visited on girls and young women, many of whom have worked their entire lives striving to reach the top of their respective sports, only to be destroyed by males pretending to be women.
And most ironically?
Every bit of it is staunchly supported by the Democrat Party — AKA: “The Party of Women.”
Go figure.
