The death of a 1-year-old baby boy within a Brooklyn affordable housing complex is being probed as a homicide, authorities and reports indicate.

Police found young Anthony Casey unconscious and unresponsive after answering a 911 call at the NYCHA complex located on Thatford Avenue and Newport Street in Brownsville shortly before 5 p.m. on Friday, as stated by the NYPD.

EMS transported the tot to One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, cops said.

The New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled Casey’s death a homicide, the Daily News reported.

The 1-year-old suffered blunt force injuries to his torso, according to the medical examiner.

The OCME did not respond to The Post’s request for comment by the time of publication.

There have been no arrests, cops said.

The incident remains under investigation.
