The Rangers are bringing in an old friend.

On Friday night, New York made a trade with the Canucks, as confirmed by The Post’s Larry Brooks, acquiring forward J.T. Miller along with defensemen Jackson Dorrington and Erik Brannstrom.

Filip Chytil, Victor Mancini and a protected first-round pick will be headed to the Canucks as part of the deal.

The 31-year-old has nine goals and 35 points in 40 games this season with Vancouver after a 103-point All-Star campaign last year.

J.T. Miller, who was drafted in the first round of the 2011 draft, is familiar with New York, having played the first five and a half seasons of his career with the Rangers.

The Rangers, with four teams ahead of them, are five points back of the final Eastern Conference wild-card spot.
