A startling video has emerged showing Miss Jamaica taking a dramatic fall off the stage during the Miss Universe preliminary evening gown competition in Thailand.

Dr. Gabrielle Henry was elegantly making her way across the Bangkok stage in a stunning orange dress when she unexpectedly missed the end of the dimly lit runway and appeared to fall forward, as depicted in clips shared online.

Audience members were quick to react, leaping from their seats to assist Henry.

Subsequent clips on social media showed the pageant contestant being transported away on a stretcher.

The Miss Universe Jamaica organization later confirmed via social media that Henry was taken to Paolo Rangsit Hospital in Thailand. Fortunately, she did not sustain any life-threatening injuries.

“Medical professionals are attending to her care and have advised that she is not suffering from any life-threatening injuries; however, they continue to conduct tests to ensure her full recovery,” the organization said.

“We kindly ask everyone to stay upbeat, lift her in prayer, and send positive thoughts as she receives the necessary medical care,” the statement continued.

Raul Rocha, owner of the Miss Universe pageant, also posted an update reassuring fans that Henry is “under good care” and miraculously didn’t break anything in the fall.

“I was there with her family and her, and thankfully, there are no broken bones, and she is under good care. She will remain under observation for the rest of the night, and we will remain in touch with her family and support her,” Rocha wrote.

“Our prayers go out for her prompt recovery.”

On Wednesday, contestants competed in swimsuit rounds, a national costume competition round, and the evening gown round in hopes of advancing to the finals.

Henry is an ophthalmologist and the founder of the See Me Foundation, a charity advocating for the visually impaired across Jamaica.

She was slated to compete at the 47th annual Miss Universe pageant on Friday — which has already been embroiled in scandal.

Miss Universe judge Omar Harfouch abruptly resigned from the pageant’s official jury just days before this year’s competition kicked off.

Harfouch alleged that an “impromptu jury” with personal ties to participating contestants had already chosen which contestants would move forward out of the 136 women competing.

Miss Universe executive Nawat Itsaragrisil was also dismissed from this year’s pageant following his shocking confrontation with Miss Mexico Fátima Bosch, which led to a dozen other Miss Universe participants walking out of a pre-pageant event in solidarity with her.
