SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Four people were found dead inside a San Francisco home on Wednesday afternoon, according to the San Francisco Fire Department. The cause of their deaths is unknown at this time.

A call came around 1:25 p.m., and crews were dispatched to the residence on Monterey Boulevard where they found the four individuals deceased, SFFD said. The ages of the victims have not been released by authorities.

The home is located in the area of the city’s Westwood Park on 930 Monterey Blvd., within walking distance of City College of San Francisco’s main campus.

The San Francisco Police Department is calling the incident “suspicious” deaths. The department’s homicide division is leading the investigation.

There is no threat to the public, SFPD said. This was an isolated incident and a “rare occurrence” in this neighborhood, SFPD Public Information Officer Robert Rueca said.
