CEDAR KEY, Fla. — Update: The Levy County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the two teen girls reported missing while paddleboarding Monday in Cedar Key have been found safe.
The sheriff’s office announced the news in a Facebook post, adding that the girls were found “cold, but otherwise healthy!”

The girls, both 16 years old, were last seen around 4 p.m. paddling toward Cedar Key from Atsena Otie Key, according to the Levy County Sheriff’s Office.
They were sharing a black and white paddleboard.
“The LCSO Marine Unit, FWC and Coast Guard are searching by water and air,” the sheriff’s office said on Monday night.
